If you are thinking about buying property on the timeshare resales market, a top priority will be ensuring you get a great deal for your money. Equally, for those selling on the resales market, the higher the quality of the accommodation and its features and facilities, often the greater the chance a person has of securing a sale.
When a timeshare organisation announces that it is upgrading any of its resorts with a facelift, this can be great news for anyone looking to buy or sell on the resales market. For those buying, you can expect much better accommodation, and for those selling, it offers a great selling opportunity to lure potential buyers.
One such holiday ownership company that has recently announced a major refurbishment upgrade is the popular Holiday Club Vista Amadores resort based in Gran Canaria. Owner Holiday Club Resorts is planning to spend a generous £1.5 million on the makeover of the property, which many vacation owners at the resort will no doubt be more than pleased to hear. All of the apartments and the pool area are expected to be redesigned, with the project beginning in just a matter of weeks. Work is likely to continue for approximately 15 weeks.
The resort upgrade to the Holiday Club Vista Amadores comes not long after another of the company’s resorts underwent a major revamp. The Holiday Club Puerto Calma was given an upgrade back in 2012, which then saw vacation owners at the Amadores requesting a similar makeover to keep the property at a similar high level to the newly refurbished Puerto Calma. Now it seems owners only have a matter of weeks to wait until this can be achieved.
The managing director of the Holiday Club Canarias, Calvin Lucock, believes that the support and feedback from the owners of Amadores has been instrumental in shaping the plans to redesign the resort. According to Mr Lucock a study of the resort was undertaken and a plan was put in place to implement the refurbishment in record time, without compromising on quality.
When the upgrade has been completed at the Holiday Club Vista Amadores the property will meet the criteria to enable it to be promoted to a 5 star resort. It already enjoys RCI Gold Crown Status, but the makeover will catapult it even further into the sphere of truly luxury resorts in the Canaries.
